XML Web Service Quoting with Carriers
The InsureZone platform is ideal for Carriers that expose a Web Service that allows real-time secure data interchange. We can post a single XML document and receive back an XML document and a carrier-prepared proposal. With these carriers, we do not use Bowser, but rather we use XSL to convert our proprietary XML format into the format required by the carrier. Proposals produced by the carrier can then be downloaded securely via HTTP requests or emailed back to our system where they are received by an automated mailbox and placed into the Oracle database for review by the end user.
