Our Technology: Relay Service

The Relay Service is a tool created to automate the data and document interchange between agency management systems, MGA management platforms, carrier rating engines and web sites, and comparative rating tools like that offered by InsureZone. This tool was created with an open architecture structure and open standards for communications. InsureZone created this service with an open workflow structure so that any member or user of the service can build out a client and/or a workflow service whether they are a retail agency, a general agency, or any third party vendor and have them connect up seamlessly. As shown in the image below, Burns & Wilcox built the original spoke to connect to their Concept One management system to the Applied TAM agency management system.

Another way to look at the Relay Service and the services that would be enabled from it is to consider the Hub and Spoke image shown below. InsureZone will build and host the original Hub (the Relay Service). Spokes would be maintained by that entity with highest vested interest in seeing that spoke stay strong such as Cochran & Company that wants to enable an agency to submit a property application by doing nothing more than emailing an Acord 140 form from whatever agency management system that their agency happens to use.
