SAS – Branded Comparative Rater – Commercial Lines
Shared Agency Services, L.L.C. is a cooperative venture owned by 58 independent insurance agents for the purpose of expanding their markets in Georgia. S.A.S. owner/agents write in excess of $750,000,000 in combined premiums for well over 100,000 personal and commercial clients with 100 of the finest companies in the industry. With almost 90 office locations throughout the state and over 500 licensed agents, their services are available to every community in Georgia.

PIA SE – Co-Branded Wholesale Operation in Conjunction with AgentSecure
The Professional Insurance Agents association in the southeast wanted to create a service that would offer their member agencies comparative rating for personal and commercial lines as well as the wholesale services needed by smaller agencies. After working with InsureZone, the PIA southeast created the PIAgents Marketplace. In conjunction with AgentSecure, PIA southeast created a fully branded version of the AgentSecure wholesale offering. This strategy allowed PIA Southeast to be able to offer the service without having to worry about building up staff in order to assist with underwriting, the servicing of policies or worrying about commissions.

Ramsgate/PUM – Branded Wholesale Site
Ramsgate/PUM is a multi-line wholesale insurance brokerage group with facilities that span the excess, surplus and specialty insurance marketplace. We are professionals with local presence and national access. Ramsgate/PUM provides immediate access to multiple national markets and partners with the highest AM Best rated companies. As a wholesale insurance broker, Ramsgate/PUM does not work directly with insured’s, rather it serves as a key intermediary between the independent insurance agents and the nation's top insurance carriers. We work with the insured's retail insurance agent or broker to provide comprehensive, cost-effective commercial coverages and specialty programs for a wide variety of risks.

What Ramsgate/PUM Needed: As a national player, Ramsgate/PUM strives to differentiate itself with unique products and services. When they heard about the InsureZone insurance toolset and what it could do for them they quickly settled on a Branded Wholesale Site [put in hyperlink to the branded wholesale site home page] that they have branded as Insur Equote. What Ramsgate wanted was a combination of a uniquely branded site along with membership management functionality. Tryton – Platform Toolset User
Tryton Insurance Group, LLC is part of Myron F. Steves & Company operating under the auspices of the Standard Lines Department since 1997. Tryton allows agents to access to standard national carriers and earn competitive commissions, all using our single-entry web interface. Tryton does the work to determine the right carriers to write your personal & commercial clients and provide you with quotes from multiple carriers fast. Tryton can consider both large & small accounts. Our underwriters have the experience to write all your accounts from small minimum premium policies to multi-million dollar accounts.

Tryton had been using the technology platform from one of InsureZone’s competitors for a few years and when that company left the technology space, Tryton turned to InsureZone to meet its needs. What Tryton did not expect was the dramatic increase in productivity at a price so far below what they were paying previously. Tryton utilizes the full suite of InsureZone’s technology platform: 1) branded wholesale site, 2) membership management toolset, 3) Clowser - appetite and underwritings rules engine, 4) FIDO – workflow management integrated with Microsoft Exchange.

NE AgenciesBranded Wholesale Site
Northeast Agencies (NEA) is a wholesale operation based in Buffalo, NY. One aspect of NEA’s business model is its status as a preferred broker partner of Allstate since 1984. In that role with Allstate, NEA provides market access, online comparative rating, underwriting and policy services for lines of business which Allstate does not write such as BOP and Workers Compensation.

NEA was looking for an online solution that allowed them to offer real-time comparative rating for commercial lines for five carriers (CNA, Hartford, Liberty (formerly Safeco), Main Street America and Travelers) for two lines of business, BOP and Workers Comp. The site was fully implemented in 6 weeks and today is setup to serve all 12,000 of NEA’s subagents.

Appalachian – Comparative Rating and Wholesale Site – Personal Lines
Appalachian Underwriters, Inc. offers a national wholesale brokerage outlet for agents looking to bring their clients a broad selection of quality products.  Their “one–stop” approach affords retail agencies the convenience of dealing with one sales and administration staff, while gaining access to a wide range of high quality companies.  Moreover, there are No fees and No volume commitments to become appointed with them. Through its interactive website, Agents and Brokers gain access to a nationwide wholesale outlet of specialized commercial and personal insurance programs. Appalachian has everything at your finger tips; Program literature, on-line rating, underwriter directories and applications.  

Appalachian approached InsureZone after its wholesale agents requested that Appalachian add a personal lines offering. The web sites and services of Appalachian worked so well that its agency customers wanted more. At the time Appalachian had only a small personal lines department and no online presence. Appalachian decided to create Direct Select. They asked InsureZone to provide two things: 1) a real-time comparative rater for three carriers – MetLife, Safeco, and Travelers, and 2) an online membership form for agents to sign up for the service. The offering has been resoundingly successful. Appalachian signed up over 3,000 agencies to use the service in just over two months and receives over 3,000 submissions each month and quotes nearly $5.0MM in premium.
