Providers for Small Business
Partnership
Represents a Significant Step Toward Making AgentSecure a One-Stop
Solution For Smaller and Rural Agents Nationwide
FORT
WORTH, Texas (February 18, 2003) – AgentSecure, a division
of InsureZone that provides independent agents with online access
to big-brand property/casualty and life products through a single-entry,
multiple-carrier interface (SEMCI), today announced that it has
embarked on another major expansion of its offering ? this time
by means of a virtual partnership with Dallas-based BenefitMall.
Beginning immediately, AgentSecure’s online application
at www.agentsecure.com will also serve as a point of entry to
BenefitMall. The latter, a leading broker-services provider for
small groups, is a complete Web-assisted one-to-one sales solution
that provides products, tools and services to streamline the sale
of employee benefits to small businesses. With support from 20
field-sales offices across the nation, BenefitMall offers thousands
of plans from more than 100 leading benefits providers. It pays
the same commissions agents would earn if they had direct appointments
with those carriers.
“The
partnership with BenefitMall represents a milestone in our continuing
effort to round out our offering with value-added products and
services that smaller and rural agents need and want,” said
Ed Gillman, founder and president of AgentSecure. “This
will make it just that much easier for agents who’ve been
focused exclusively on property and casualty lines to begin giving
their clients a total solution.”
“This alliance moves us forward in our goal of becoming
a complete benefits solution for multiple channels within the
insurance industry and allowing for a greater reach and distribution
of employee benefits to small businesses,” added Michael
Gomes, executive vice president of Market Operations for BenefitMall.
BenefitMall complements AgentSecure’s core offering of small
commercial products, including Businessowners Policy, Workers’
Compensation, Commercial Auto and Umbrella Liability, as well
as Directors and Officers (D&O), Errors and Omissions (E&O),
Employee Practices Liability (EPLI), Builders’ Risk and
Bonds. More than 1,900 small-business classes are supported.
AgentSecure, which together with InsureZone’s other operating
units touches more than 2,500 independent agents, also offers
an extensive menu of life, annuity, long-term care, disability
insurance and 401(k) retirement-plan products. It has the exclusive
endorsement of more than two-thirds of the state associations
affiliated with the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers
of America.
